We here at Dinomite Rocks and Gems firmly believe in the importance of cleansing our crystals to revitalize their healing abilities. The easiest and fastest, and our preferred method, is done with sage. This is our favorite because not only can it cleanse large numbers of stones at once, but it will also clear any stagnant energy in your home in the process. To do this method, simply bathe your crystals in the smoke of the sage. The frequency and purpose behind the usage of the stones will determine how often they should be cleansed. For stones used often for highly emotional or difficult work, cleansing daily may not be a bad idea. Weekly is a good rule of thumb for any stone that is used with frequency. It is also a good idea to cleanse them monthly regardless of use. This ensures that any stray energy or undirected intentions are not clogging them up.

Other methods for cleansing items include, leaving the stones outside in either the full light of the Sun or Moon overnight or throughout the day. Clear quartz can be used by laying stones on top of, or inside of, a larger crystal or geode. Singing bowls can also be used. Once the bowl is singing, hold the crystals within the sound field for a few moments each.

All of these methods can be used interchangeably, use the one that works the best for you and your needs.
